Abstract

In the field of custom textiles, Japanese Tenugui are popular for their unique cultural connotations and practicality. Our factory recently completed 1,300pcs custom Japanese hand towel Tenugui in line with the theme of the Japanese summer festival. This project used high-quality cotton, full-color digital printing, and small corner logos. Now, let us show you the case details.

Initial Communication

Feb 14th, 2024, we received an inquiry from a well-known video game publisher in Southern California, USA. This customer plans to hold a fan event with a Japanese festival theme in July, they want to provide fans participating in the event with a custom Japanese Tenugui towel. The initial QTY is 1,000 pcs.

Communication Phase

The customer requested a custom Tenugui with a Japanese summer festival theme, the Tenugui Japanese towel size is 35*90 cm, Japanese Tenugui fabric is a cotton cloth, and printed in full-color digital printing. The customer provides the Tenugui design to ensure consistency with its event theme and brand image. 

To help the customer better complete the design, we provided the customer with a template of a Japanese headband in the initial stage and sent samples of similar products.

Sample Proof Phase

After the customer received the Tenugui hand towel sample, they were delighted with the workmanship and details of our Tenugui and quickly decided to make a proof.

Apr 16th, 2024: The customer paid the proofing fee and we started proofing according to the animation Tenugui design drawing.

Apr 23rd, 2024: We finished the sample, sent the sample picture to the customer for confirmation, and delivered the sample on the same day.

May 10th, 2024: The customer was delighted after receiving the sample. They wanted to modify the order quantity of Tenugui, changing the original 1000pcs to 1300pcs, and asked us to send the bulk goods to 3 different places.

May 14th, 2024: The customer paid for the bulk Japanese Tenugui head wrap and required that the goods must be received before the end of June because their activities started in July. 

May 15th, 2024:We started the bulk production. During the production process, we strictly followed the high-standard quality management process to ensure that custom Japanese towel Tenugui met the expectations of customers.

End of June: The bulk Japanese cloth Tenugui was completed on time. We divided them into 3 batches and sent them to 3 different places. During this process, we kept in close contact with the customer and fed back the latest logistics dynamics to ensure that each batch tenugui Japanese hand towels was delivered on time and safely.
