Abstract

This case is about we worked with a sock factory in Japan,they want to custom super soft velvet drawstring bags for packaging its socks launched in collaboration with a world-renowned brand. The project included 7,545 super soft velvet drawstring bags, using high-demand embroidery technology to ensure that the pattern was detailed and perfect. With close communication with the customer, we successfully completed velvet drawstring bags sample confirmation and mass production, and the customer was very satisfied with the project.

Initial Communication

On July 26th, 2024, we received an inquiry from a sock factory in Japan. The customer recently launched a sock in collaboration with a well-known amusement park brand and urgently needed velvet drawstring gift bags as packaging to ensure consistency with the brand image. The customer found us through the website and was confident in our production capabilities.

Cooperation process

In order to ensure that the custom velvet drawstring bags we produced were consistent with their existing products, the customer sent us samples. After we reviewed the samples and design drawings, we started proofing.

Samples：The customer requested a total of 7 designs of different colors, with a size of 24*25cm. The drawstring bags material is super soft and equipped with a rope of PP material of the same color. 

The pattern on each drawstring velvet bag is embroidered, and the number of frames is very dense, which requires a relatively high level of embroidery technology. 

We found two problems during velvet bag drawstring embroidery test proofing stage. After multiple tests, we finally ensured that the density of the embroidery was consistent with the sample provided by the customer.

Bulk goods：After our internal design and discussion, we proofed 7 sock drawstring bags designs for the customer. In the end, we successfully proofed a high-frame number velveteen drawstring bags sample that met the customer’s requirements and took photos for confirmation. 

The customer was very satisfied with the sample and decided to place a large order with us, a total of 7 custom velvet drawstring bags, a total of 7,545pcs.

Packaging：We had full communication with the customer and understood their specific needs for velvet bags with drawstring packaging. The customer required that every 10 bags be flat-packed in one bag and then put into a carton.

Customer Feedback

After receiving the final product, the customer expressed that he was very satisfied with the design, quality and embroidery effect of the velvet drawstring bag with logo. He believed that these small and large velvet drawstring bags perfectly matched their socks products and had a good display effect in the market. They look forward to establishing a deeper cooperative relationship with us in the future and adding more value to their brands.
