Abstract

In March 2025, Pace-Setter received an order for a custom pink polyester sleep mask from a French customer. The customer mainly deals in cosmetics-related products and plans to use custom sleep mask as gifts or retail products, with a focus on soft touch, comfortable wearing and high-quality appearance. 

The customer ordered 25,250 pieces of branded eye masks, specifying the use of pink polyester fabric, product size of 33*11cm, digital printing, and requiring cotton washing labels, and single carton packaging. 

The entire project took about 30 days from proofing to delivery, and was finally successfully delivered and highly praised by the customer. This customized eye mask project also laid a good foundation for subsequent cooperation in beauty and cosmetics supporting products in the French market.

Initial Communication

The customer submitted an inquiry through our independent website on March 10, expressing interest in custom eye masks. In the initial communication, the customer clearly stated that the product needs to be used as a cosmetic gift, so there are high requirements for appearance and packaging.

In terms of materials, customers tend to choose light and soft pink polyester material with a mercerized effect, which should feel and look similar to silk. At the same time, they emphasize sleepmasks that the skin-fitting feeling when worn must be comfortable, especially without obvious indentations or roughness.

We arranged professional business to communicate details with customers as soon as possible, confirming that the size of the personalised sleep mask is 33*11cm, the logo is digitally printed, the sewing method is flat sewing, the filling material is medium-thick sponge, and the final product is packaged in a single carton. Detailed instructions and feasible suggestions are provided.

In addition, the customer hopes that the custom pink polyester sleep mask has a certain thickness on the basis of ensuring the appearance, and also requires a cotton cloth washing label to facilitate end consumers to understand the material information. This poses a challenge to our proofing speed and process coordination ability, but Pace-Setter quickly provides a solution with rich experience.

Proofing and Mass Production

After the customer puts forward the demand, we complete the first round of proofing and send the sample within 5 days. The overall color, printing effect and seam process of the eye shades for sleeping sample were initially recognized by the customer. But after trying it on the personalised eye mask， the customer pointed out that the lining was thin, slightly “empty” when worn, and lacked the expected soft and thick feeling.

After receiving the feedback, we immediately started the second round of proofing work, thickened the sponge, and optimized the sewing line to make the overall feel fuller. 

Since the high quality sleep mask is sewn with thickened edge strips in one circle, it forms a certain thickness after combining with the middle sponge part. The machine presser foot needs to be adjusted appropriately during sewing to ensure that the seams are tight but not too pressurized.

The final version pink sleep mask was quickly put into mass production after the customer confirmed it. 

One of the highlights of this order is that the customer specifically requires each custom pink polyester sleep mask to be placed in a dedicated customized paper box separately, further enhancing the terminal display effect and brand texture.

To this end, we assisted the customer in designing simple pink paper box packaging. The size is precisely matched with the product specifications, and the appearance is printed with the customer’s brand logo and basic instructions.

The paper box is made of environmentally friendly materials, which not only ensures the anti-pressure effect during transportation but also reflects the customer’s emphasis on sustainable concepts.

The packaging and assembly process is completed by our team. Each customized eye mask is put into the box after passing the quality inspection, ensuring that every product received by the customer is a complete and neat final product.

Customer Feedback

The branded eye masks cycle of large goods is 25 days, and the overall progress is as planned. We maintain weekly communication with customers throughout the process, report production progress, provide product pictures and videos, and ensure that customers can keep track of orders at any time remotely.

After receiving the finished custom eye masks, the customer expressed satisfaction with the overall quality and packaging of the product. In particular, it was mentioned that the seams are delicate and comfortable to wear, and the printing is clear, which is consistent with their brand image. As a gift in their spring beauty box, the custom pink polyester eye mask received a lot of praise at the beginning of the market launch.

Based on good cooperation, the customer has confirmed the content of the next round of new orders after the project is completed, and plans to expand the product range to include matching beauty textiles such as headbands and small drawstring bags.
