Abstract

This case introduces we custom fish scale pattern Japanese tenugui for a Japanese grocery store customer. The Japanese tenugui uses an orange fish pattern design, combined with screen printing and handcrafts, successfully solved the customer’s concerns about printing quality, and completed 2390pcs orders.

Initial Communication

On Apr 22nd, 2024, we received an inquiry from a foreign trade company, and the customer wanted to customize a tenugui Japanese towel for its Japanese customers. 

The customer runs a chain of grocery stores and sent us detailed AI tenugui designs, it is a traditional tenugui with a Japanese fish scale pattern, tenugui towel size is 90*34cm. After communication between the two parties, we confirmed several key details, including custom Tenugui color number, and reinforcement of single strands to enhance the beauty of the product.

Cooperation process

To meet the needs of the customer, we decided to use screen printing. Considering that the customer’s order quantity was 2390pcs and there was only one color number (orange), we chose manual plate printing to ensure that each tenugui cloth could meet the customer’s design requirements.

Sample Proof

We completed the production of the Japanese towel tenugui sample within 7 days and sent it to the customer for confirmation. The Japanese customer expressed great satisfaction after receiving the sample.

At the same time, customers doubt that manual plate printing might affect the overall quality of the bulk irodori tenugui. In this regard, we assured the customer of our printing quality, supported the full inspection of the bulk cotton tenugui, and promised to take responsibility for all defective printed products, eliminating the customer’s worries.

Finally, after ensuring no quality concerns, the customer decided to place a bulk order immediately. At present, all 2390pcs custom fish scale pattern Japanese tenugui tasks have been completed.
