Abstract

This case records the whole process of custom embroidery cotton lobster napkins for a Japanese grocery store. The customer has high requirements for details. We successfully delivered 3045 46×46cm navy blue cloth napkins by adjusting the embroidery design and optimizing the production process. 

This batch of orders demonstrates our professional capabilities in embroidery technology and hemming processing, adding a unique charm to the customer’s brand image.

Initial communication

On Sep 9th, 2024, a Japanese grocery store asked us for customized embroidered lobster napkins. This is the first project that the customer has cooperated with us, and they are mainly for the home table decoration market.

The customer wants custom cloth napkins for a new market, requiring the color to be navy blue, which is accurately selected by sending sample color cards.

The material must be pure cotton to ensure comfort and durability for daily use, and the cotton cloth napkins pattern design is an embroidered lobster, which must highlight the marine theme and show a unique style. 

The order quantity is 3045 pieces, and it needs to be equipped with customized packaging to enhance the overall product grade.

After understanding all the requirements, we began to prepare for the first proofing.

Project Difficulties and Solutions

1. Adjustment of Embroidery Pattern

After the first sample of the embroidery napkin required by the customer was completed, we checked it ourselves and felt that the embroidery of the lobster body was not neat enough.

The lobster napkins overall effect was rough, and the size was too small to achieve the expected exquisiteness. Through communication with the customer, we proposed our solution.

To solve the needs raised by the customer, we had in-depth communication with the embroidery designer, redesigned the lobster pattern, finely adjusted the spacing of the custom embroidered cloth napkins thread, and added detailed lines of the shrimp claws and the shrimp body to make the pattern more exquisite and 3D.

At the same time, the customer wants the size of square cloth napkins to be expanded from the original 8cm to 12cm to ensure that the visual effect is more prominent with the overall proportion of the embroidered table napkins.

During the production process, we use high-precision embroidery machines and conduct manual inspections after each batch of embroidery is completed. we ensure that the pattern quality and consistency of each navy blue cloth napkins meet customer expectations.

2. High requirements for the hemming process

Given the high requirements for the sewing cloth napkins hemming process around the edges, we have taken several optimization measures. 

First, high-quality cotton fabrics are selected and shaped before sewing to make the navy cloth napkins more stable and avoid stretching or deformation.

Secondly, a slight ironing process was added during the hemming process to ensure that the sewing table napkins edges are smoother and smoother, while effectively preventing the occurrence of thread derailment.

Bulk Order

The entire custom embroidery cotton lobster napkins production process was scheduled compactly and efficiently. The proofing work was completed within 7 days, and the samples were successfully delivered for customer confirmation on September 16. 

Subsequently, we completed the bulk production in 25 days to ensure that the delivery was on schedule on October 14. fully meeting the customer’s time requirements.

Customer Feedback

After receiving the product, the customer highly recognized the improved embroidery pattern, especially the exquisiteness of the embroidery and the perfect match of colors. 

They said that this lobster embroidered napkin will become one of the featured products of the grocery store, and other customized designs may be launched for different themes in the future.

Summary

This project demonstrates our advantages in napkin embroidery technology and fast delivery capabilities. Through efficient communication with customers, we not only solved the problem of embroidery patterns but also created a designer cloth napkins that are both practical and decorative. 

This order lays a solid foundation for our expansion in the Japanese market.
