Abstract

This case records a repurchase project for a custom brand polyester large satin bandana order from a Chinese foreign trade company that exports to Japan. By quickly responding to customer needs, solving printing detail problems, and completing the production of 15,000 large bandanas within a strict production cycle, we once again won customers’ trust and laid the foundation for long-term cooperation.

Initial communication

On Oct 9th, 2024, we received a new batch of order requirements from an old customer. This is a Chinese trading company that mainly engages in Japanese export business. Their customer is a grocery store. 

The customer has previously ordered similar products. This is a repurchase order for a new customized pattern, requiring the production of a custom brand polyester large satin bandana.

After communicating with the customer, we learned about the customer’s needs. For the purpose of brand marketing, the customer wants to custom a well-known sports brand bandana for commercial sales. 

This is a pure polyester bandana with 3 color designs and a total of 15,000 pieces. It is an oversized bandana with a size of 75x75cm.

Challenges and solutions

We quickly made the first proof of the design. During the proofing process, we encountered a small problem. The custom printed bandanas were not solid and the feel was uneven. 

This is a common problem of satin cloth, which may affect the visual effect and smoothness of the feel, especially in mass production.

We proposed our solution to this problem. Adjust the digital printing process parameters, such as ink volume control and fabric tension adjustment, to ensure full color and clear pattern. 

After printing, perform surface ironing to optimize the feel and make the cloth bandana smoother and more comfortable.

Secondary proofing

After solving the printing problem, we made a secondary proof of the promotional bandanas. At the same time, the customer required the size to be changed from bandana 90×90 to 75x75cm, and other details remained unchanged. 

We quickly adjusted the polyester bandana fabric cutting size, and the modified sample was proofed within one day and sent to the customer for confirmation.

Bulk order

After receiving the samples, the customer said that he was very satisfied with both the printing details and the neatness of the sewing, and immediately decided to place a large order for 15,000 pcs. We started mass production on October 18, 2024, and completed all orders that month.

Customer feedback

After receiving the large batch of goods, the customer was very happy with the improvement of pattern details and feel, and especially appreciated our efficient delivery and strict quality management. 

This batch of custom brand polyester large satin bandana orders further deepened the customer’s trust in us. The customer clearly stated that he would continue to cooperate with us and planned to launch more new patterns of promotional big bandanas next year.
