Abstract

This case shows the custom 100% polyester recycled headband for an outdoor sports product company in the United States, emphasizing environmental protection and high quality standards, and successfully meeting customer needs through double-sided printing technology.

Initial Communication

On Aug 21st, 2024, we received an inquiry from an outdoor sports product company in the United States. The customer found us through our website and expressed the need to find a new headband company. 

They attach great importance to the concept of environmental protection and require that all custom polyester headbands must have polyester recyclable certificates and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification. We are happy to provide the customer with relevant certification information and win the customer’s trust.

Communication Phase

After detailed communication, the customer hopes to customize a black-dark green headband made of 83% polyester and 17% spandex, with an order quantity of 50,000. 

The customer requires that the back of the polyester headband be sewn instead of the traditional elastic band to better show the product’s characteristics. To this end, the customer also sent us custom made headbands pictures and production videos to help us understand their needs more deeply.

Based on the known information, we provided the customer with a polyester headbands bulk quotation, and the customer was satisfied with the price and decided to send us samples for proofing. The customer recognized our professionalism, so he also sent us material headbands samples of other products, hoping to understand whether we can produce and the price.

Cooperation process

A week later, we received the designer head band samples sent by the customer. After discussion and analysis by the design department, we sorted out the production methods of each statement headband and provided the customer with a rough quotation. 

We encountered some challenges during the production process, because there is no the same double-sided fabrics on the market. 

We searched almost every fabric supplier in China and finally found a recyclable polyester fabric that met the customer’s requirements. The customer is very satisfied and paid the custom 100% polyester recycled headband proofing fee.

Customer Feedback

After 20 days, we completed the sample production and sent it to the customer. The customer was very happy with the sample and decided to place a large order, they also said that we would also be responsible for the production of other products in the future.

Throughout the process, we make close communication with the customer, their attention to every detail enabled us to meet its needs more accurately, including the customization requirements of environmentally friendly packaging. 

The customer requested environmentally friendly packaging made of thickened cardboard and kraft paper to reflect the environmental protection concept of its brand.

After receiving the bulk custom 100% polyester recycled headband, the customer was very satisfied with our products and service and looks forward to more cooperation opportunities in the future.
